Hi! My name is Carmen, and I recently moved to Prague. I’m a theatre artist and a passionate dog lover — dogs are my soulmates and wonderful companions. Spending time with them keeps me mentally healthy and active, with daily walks and fresh air between work.

I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve had pets of my own (my beloved dog passed away a few years ago), volunteered at dog shelters, and recently worked as a volunteer at DOA, an animal shelter in Amsterdam. I also dog-sat multiple dogs in private homes in Amsterdam for three years.

I work from home, so I can give dogs plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I welcome dogs in my cozy 1-bedroom apartment (45 m²) on Baranova Street, near Flora metro station. There are many nearby parks, including Mahlerovy Sady, perfect for walks and outdoor play. Depending on size and temperament, I can host one or two dogs at a time to ensure each receives enough attention and care.

I strive to create a safe, calm, and loving environment, helping dogs feel happy, secure, and relaxed while their owners are away.

Languages: I speak fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Dutch, and basic Czech.

Mám více než 15 let zkušeností se psy, jak jako majitelka, tak jako profesionální hlídačka. Dobrovolničila jsem v útulcích, včetně DOA v Amsterdamu, kde jsem získala praktické zkušenosti se psy všech velikostí, věků a povah, včetně psů s chováním jako úzkost nebo agresivita. Tři roky jsem také hlídala více psů v soukromých domácnostech.

Co odlišuje moji péči od ostatních, je individuální přístup, klidné prostředí a opravdová láska ke každému psu. Pracuji z domova, takže psi nejsou dlouho sami. Sleduji jejich osobnost, potřeby a pohodlí, používám pozitivní posilování a čtu jejich řeč těla. Každý pes dostává individuální péči, díky které se cítí bezpečně, šťastně a milovaně.

I pay close attention to their personality, comfort, and needs, using positive reinforcement and understanding their body language. Each dog receives individualized care, making them feel safe, happy, and loved.
